ABIBOO´s team finds in Dani Fonseca´s work a fascinating artistic exploration of principles that can be applied to any other field: blurring the limits of the object and the location where such an object is placed.
Fonseca takes the naked human body and uses it as the canvas and as the landscape for her art.Like in Architecture, in Danielle´s work, the relationship between the Object and its Surroundings is altered, raising inspiring questions about how to create beauty in frontiers and the border of things.

Danielle A. Fonseca is the founder, Chief Art Director, Designer and Project Manager of The Body of Art, a make-up and body art production company based out of New York City.
A native to the five boroughs, Fonseca brings over 15 years of extensive knowledge and experience from both the fine art and fashion industries to her business. Her vision and work have fused the two worlds successfully and she has opened the door to a realm of intriguing possibilities for her clients to promote themselves, ideas and products.
Dani’s creative knowledge stems from her fine art background in painting and drawing. She received her BFA and BS in Art Education in 2001. She also worked in theater, painting sets and designing makeup. Fonseca worked as a beauty makeup artist with the Manhattan region since 2001.
Dani has worked on productions including Cirque du Soleil, The Pussy Cat Dolls (with Carman Electra & Jaime Pressley) as well as several fashion shows including House of Fields, Abigail Lorick, Devi Kroell, Joanna Mastroianni, Phillipe, and David Blonde and more. She also participated in charity events including Broadway Bares and Viva Glam Casino (hosted by Maggie Rizer, featuring the MAC deck of Cards).
Taking The Body of Art to its full capacity, she has worked on many major productions including Marc Jacobs, Adriana Lima, The Latin Grammies, and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. She has had editorials published about her work in The New York Times, The Miami Herald, The Washington Post, USA Today, The New York Post, as well as The SOHO Journal, and has been a featured artist in On Make-up Magazine.

El equipo de ABIBOO Studio encuentra en Dani Fonseca una fascinante obra plástica, artística y conceptual con principios trasladables a cualquier campo del arte: la creación dinámica y volátil en la piel, entendida como frontera entre el lugar y el objeto que se inscribe en el mismo.
En la creativa producción artística de Fonseca vemos cómo el cuerpo humano desnudo (de gran valor e inspiración física y emocional) entendido como barrera entre el objeto y su entorno, se utiliza como lienzo, y campo para el trabajo y una exploración artística admirable.
Al igual que en la Arquitectura, en la obra de Danielle la relación del Objeto con el Entorno que lo rodea queda transgredida tras la acción de la artista y plantea inspiradores interrogantes sobre cómo lograr belleza en situaciones de frontera o en circunstancias donde los límites están marcadamente establecidos.

Original de Nueva York, Danielle incorpora en su obra más de 15 años de dilatado conocimiento y experiencia tanto de las Artes Plástica como de la Moda. Su forma personal de entender el mundo ha permitido de forma magistral explotar y combinar ambos mundos abriendo grandes líneas de investigación y de posibilidades creativas.
La obra de Danielle toma su base de sus orígenes en el campo de las Bellas Artes. Recibió su Titulación en Artes en 2001 y trabajó en teatro, maquillaje y diseños de escenografías en Nueva York. En el aspecto profesional Danielle ha trabajado en grandes producciones como el Circo del Sol, The Pussy Cat Dolls (con Carmen Electra y Jaime Pressley) al igual que en pasarelas de moda, como House of Fields, Abigail Lorick, Devi Kroell, Joanna Mastroianni, Phillipe and David Blonde, entre otros. Igualmente ha participado en acontecimientos benéficos incluyendo Broadway Bares y Viva Glam Casino (organizados por Maggie Rizer).
Desarrollando su obra dentro de la evolución de “El Arte del Cuerpo”, Danielle ha trabajado para grandes producciones internacionales como Marc Jacobs, Adriana Lima, Los Grammy latinos o la Semana de la Moda de Mercedes-Benz. Se han publicado artículos y muestras de su obra en medios de difusión pública internacional como The New York Times, The Miami Herald, The Washington Post, USA Today, The New York Post, al igual que en The SOHO Journal. Danielle ha sido igualmente seleccionada como artista destacada en Make-up Magazine.
