David Catá’s work has a strong temporal character and is recorded through photography, video, painting, and even sculpture. In his work, he poses interesting reflections on time, memory and oblivion.

David Catá is a multidisciplinary artist. His artistic work has received the first prize in the “Certame de Artes Plásticas da Deputación de Ourense” (2010), the first runner-up prize in the Bang Video Art Festival, Barcelona (2013) and the prize in the Isaac Díaz Pardo Plastic Arts Competition.
He has participated in group exhibitions in countries such as Cambodia, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Germany, the United States, Portugal, Spain… His exhibitions include the Culture Area of the UDC (Ferrol), Cero Gallery (Madrid) and METRO Gallery (Santiago de Compostela), Kursala Hall, University of Cádiz (Cádiz), Kleiner Salon (Berlin), ESTUDIO 22 (Logroño), Colectivo Imagen (Fuengirola) and Contraluz Gallery (Pamplona).

El trabajo de David Catá tiene un fuerte carácter temporal, y queda registrado a través de la fotografía, el video, la pintura e incluso la escultura. En su obra plantea interesantes reflexiones sobre el tiempo, la memoria y el olvido.

David Catá, es un artista multidisciplinar. Su obra artística ha recibido el primer premio del “Certame de Artes Plásticas da Deputación de Ourense” (2010), el primer accésit del Festival de videoarte Bang, Barcelona (2013) y premio en el Certamen de Artes Plásticas Isaac Díaz Pardo.
Ha participado en exposiciones colectivas en países como Camboya, México, Perú, Chile, Brasil, Alemania, Estados Unidos, Portugal, España… Entre sus exposiciones individuales figuran el Área de Cultura de la UDC (Ferrol), Galería Cero (Madrid) y Galería METRO (Santiago de Compostela), Sala Kursala Universidad de Cádiz (Cádiz), Kleiner Salon (Berlín), ESTUDIO 22 (Logroño), Colectivo Imagen (Fuengirola) y Galería Contraluz (Pamplona).
